Who's fault was the accident? Most policies do not cover bolt on's or non factory equipment unless it is written in the policy. Give me some more details. regards : Just got a call from dealerships Insurance company, car damage is not fixable. They have offered me: : $12,367.50 for the car $865.73 for tax : Total : $13,233.23 : Now, there is no way I can buy the same car for that amount around here. If that same dealer had my Z on the lot, it would list for $16,000. I also have approx $7,000 in documented mods left over on the car. I want them to cover 50% of that, and also leave me the car so I can recover the other 50%.....or should I just shoot for 100% and forget about the car? I have a lawyer, but he's still not in the office this AM, so I thought some educated replies can only help me. : Thanks guys!
